Audio Technica ATH-M50 vs ATH-AD700X for Xbox Gaming

Currently I have a pair of ATH-M50's that I use with an Astro MixAmp Pro for gaming with my Xbox 360, I really like the setup and I think it sounds great. My question is, would making a switch to a pair of ATH-AD700X really make a difference for me? I've watched all the reviews and I know that they're a better pair of headphones for gaming, but would that really stand out on an Xbox 360/Xbox One? I'd buy the headphones today if I knew that they were going to sound magnitudes better, but I'm nervous to just because I don't want to buy them, and then be disappointed when the difference doesn't blow me away.

You are talking about two headphones in roughly the same price/performance class. They are not "magnitudes better". They are different, with a different sound signature. If you like the M50, then why change? Just because some guy with a keyboard (just like me) says the A700X is better for gaming? I wouldn't do it just for that reason.
