I was listening to Jean Michel Jarre "Oxygen" and this ambient music sounds cool on the 770's

Yeah that's a good album. Remember he had a concert with a million people. It was in the Guiness Book of World Records for biggest concert for a while.

I just put in a order for the DT770 250 ohms and should be expecting them sometime early next week

I've got a Aune T1 on its way as well, because it was the cheapest home use amp+dac that fitted into my budget. This will be my first serious headphone, I have only used earbuds or cheap sonys before. I will listen from my computer, I have just downloaded Foobar, I used to use Itunes up till this point. I'm not sure what to expect in terms of how much better it will be.. but I have read a great deal around the web over the last few months.

Can't wait to hear this!

I'm mainly a pop, kpop and electronic person (house, DnB, Dubstep and chillout stuff)

Congratulations !
After seeing your music preferences , they should be good for your application

Just a heads-up for classical music , the 770s suffer through Total-Harmonic-Distortion , rolling-off doesn't help ...so its best to keep them away from those genres , other than that ....they are fantastic , enjoy !

I've just received my Aune T1 and DT770 from the mailman. Set up and been listening for about 45 minutes - I've only listened to a bit of Colette Carr, TaTu, Roughmath and Justice but I'm surprised by how good it is. Bass hits hard for electronic, I have never had headphones that hit like this before. The voices and the music are so well separated, all I used to hear was all the music together in a little ball. The sound is pretty wide and I suppose what you call the soundstage is quite big. Lets just say I'm really impressed because it is so clear and effortless sounding. The highs have a nice clarity and details to them.

Yeah. The soundstage is really nice on these headphones. A lot bigger than you would expect.

Yeah. These headphones are great for electronic music. Just the right amount of Bass.

Hello everybody, I have a few questions.

1. How well would the DT 770 Pro 250 OHM work well with the Fiio E07K Andes and iPod Classic 7th Generation?

2. How are the DT 770 Pro 250 OHM against the Audio Technicas M50's?

3. How long have you had these headphones and what are the pros and cons since purchase?
