Sony MDR-MA900 VS HiFiman HE-400

Ok, this might seem like an odd comparison, but I'm curious if anyone has tested both of these headphones.

My impression from reading reviews is that the Sony MDR-MA900 is one of the best and most well-rounded headsets available at the $200-$250 price point. However, I have noticed sales going on for the HiFiman HE-400 at $300, and I'm considering stretching my budget for it if it's actually worth it over the MDR-MA900.

I'm not exactly an audiophile but I do appreciate good sound. The only thing I don't particularly like is sibilance.

Any advice/impressions/comparison between the two is appreciated.

HE-400 is really sibilant of its treble isn't EQ'd down.

I'm interesting in this comparison also. I have the MA900.
