Help to alleviate high volume distortion on cmoy. - Page 2

More capicitance might help **slightly** but really your problem is you just dont have enough voltage on tap for what you want to do.

Have you tried adding output resistors? They may help. Its easy enough to hobble something together with alligator jumpers just to test. Start with 10-20ohms.

Switching op amps? No, I dont know which op amps may be better.

I might try the resistor and caps. I have some 47ohms laying around. Otherwise I will probably just leave it be. I am learning that I don't have to listen as loud due to the better quality of sound I get with my setup now, compared to what it was. Also, my pioneers are ok alone, but respond very well to my fiio e5. I mainly wanted the cmoy for a fun project and to enjoy my m50s and pk3s a little more.
