Portable closed circumaural headphones on a budget, reccomendations please?

Hi everyone.

My budget is quite restricting, ideally at a maximum of £40 (I may be willing to spend a little bit more if they're worth the extra).

As the title says I'm looking for headphones that are portable, circumaural and are closed.
I don't know much about headphones, as I've been using the apple ear pods for a while, but I really do prefer my brothers headphones (JVC HA S600)  as the sound quality is just so much better. I could get the JVC HA S600, but I'd like to see what else there is too.

The music I'd be listening to is quite ranged; stuff from the 60s/70s, house music, rock/blues.

I'd be using these headphones mainly with my ipod touch for walking to college but also for traveling, so for car and plane journeys, and also for home use, which is why I'd like closed circumaural headphones (for the noise isolation).

I understand it's probably quite difficult finding headphones for all this with my budget, so I'd appreciate any feedback.
Thanks :)

Gone with the Sony MDR-V55 in the end if anyone's interested.

£38 on Amazon.
