What should I get?

I guys I'm new to this site. I have always been reading on here and love it. I am 14, a male and go to school. I need help finding headphones. My maximum budget price is $100. I need to be able to make them collapse and take them to school. My mom hates big headphones so please try your best. I can only get headphones at Best Buy right now because I have a two year warranty there ending in 2015. I mostly listen to rap and hip hop (Joey Bada$$, Bishop Nehru, Sugarhill Gang, Oddisee, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, etc.) and i have other artists like Coldplay, The Verve, Omega. I also listen to R&B. I like bass but in this case i would rather have an all-around pair of cans. I am currently using Sony Mdr-zx600s. I listened to the Marshall Monitors on display and fell in love, however they are $200. I'm putting this here in case it might help. I'll be using hem for everything and i use an Ipod Nano 5th generation. And i will not be using an amp. I have been eyeing these ones so far:

-Skullcandy Aviators (clearance for $60 right now)

-Skullcandy Hesh 2.0

-Klipsch Image One

-Marshall Majors

-Bose AE2 (a little over the budget)

Any suggestions? Please and thank you.

P.S: preferably Close-back

Even if the headphones are sold from the site and not sold in-store, I can get them.

I looked over the Bestbuy site for headphones under $100, did not find anything I would want to buy.

Hi,

Stay away from Marshall Majors:

-Too much clamping force

-Sound quality is not good

-Built quality is not good (The lovely painting simply starts falling off after a month of use.)

-Max imput power 20mW (You can break them even with an iPod Shuffle)

You should consider this headphones:

Creative Aurvana Live!

KRK 6400/8400

Beyerdynamic DTX501p

Best Luck!

Thanks guys, but if I HAD, ABSOLUTELY HAD to get a pair from Best Buy, what should I get? I've also been eyeing the UrbanEars Plattns

Aviators are probably the best option from your list. If you can muster up another 15 dollars though, the skullcandy Mixmasters are 115 dollars, and they are a bit better than the aviators. But when it comes to sound, appearance, and COMFORT, Aviator is a better choice from that list

You should consider:

Yamaha EPH-100 (Best Buy)

This IEMs are really musical, with great bass extension and overall sound quality.

Build quality is also very good (Metal Made). A carrying case and 5 different sized earpads are included.

They also provide very good isolation.

Sennheiser HD 380 Pro (Best Buy)

I've never tried this headphones but I've read good things about them:

Best Luck!

Can you get them from the Best Buy online "Marketplace", or does it have to be from Best Buy itself? If you go up to $150, and you can buy from the Marketplace, then there are some options:

IEMs:
Etymotic hf3/hf5

Open:
Sennheiser HD518

Closed:
Logitech UE6000
AKG K271 MK II
Sony MDR 10R
Sennheiser HD380 Pro
Sennheiser HD449
AKG K619
Creative Aurvana Live
AKG K240 Studio

The K240 and K271 are large and do not fold in any way.
