Check Fiio E-series, UD110v2 and Hifimediy Sabre dacs, if you're looking for good performance/price ratio. Also Audioguest Dragonfly and HRT Microstreamer are very good for their price.

Thanks I got the Fiio e17. I wanted to get the fireflies by wooaudio but then I saw that they were a ridiculous $1,000.

If your looking to get some sort of headphone surround sound from your laptop,

try to connect the E17 to it using S/PDIF (optical or coaxial), S/PDIF works with the built in sound card, USB bypasses the sound card.

If all your really doing is music, then USB is fine (and easier).
