Need help choosing an Earphone (in-ear)

Hi everyone at Head-Fi

First i want to say I am  new here and this is my first post :) I was looking for a forum which could help me choose the right earphone because am really new to the headphone industry. All i know is "Bose" maybe because its huge marketing worldwide.

The point:

I am thinking of buying a headphone ( in-ear ) or earphone ( I do not know whats the proper name for it). I want an earphone that really makes me feel the music ( Not intended for professional purposes ).

I have been searching the web for the past couple of days and I found a couple of companies ( Shure, AKG, Sennheiser...etc)

What do you recommend me to buy, any great earphones ? I know their prices vary. and some of them are expensive.

I wanted to see a professional point of view ( I was thinking of Shure SE535 )

Thanks everyone

How much do you want to spend?

What sort of music do you listen to?

What do you listen to your music through?

Do you know what sort of sound you like?

I would test out a few cheaper models with different sound signatures to nail down the sound you like. Then, think about spending more to get a better quality of that sound.

I'm just got the Westone UM Pro 30 IEMs, and they work pretty well for a portable solution. That particular pair is rather expensive, but they have several options and price ranges, so I'd browse them on Amazon or their product page.

Hey MrRodriguez , Thanks for replying

- Not more than 600$ , but if there is something worth it around that price please let me know :)
- My phone ( Google Nexus 5 )
- You mean what do i hear :)? actually anything * Rock, trance, vocals, depend on the mood ^_^!

*The problem is i live in a country where these products are not available, so i have to ship them and it would take time if i have to try them :D I want something that would stay for years with high specifications.

Thanks Nihl :) haha alot to ready ^_^ :D Thanks anyway i'll check it :D

Hey Pixle, Thanks for replying :) Seems a nice company
but as i said earlier :) i do not really understand the features of these earphones ^_^ for example they say it has 3 microdevices ... etc . I do not know what that will add to the music experience :)

So basically can someone recommend me an IEM that has the same or higher quality than SE535(Shure) and around the same price.

Sorry for My noobness! ^_^

I would consider the UE900 over the SE535. The 900s supposedly have a little more prominent bass, which is usually more "fun" in my opinion.

Thanks MrRodriguez

I have been looking around in the web about it. I think am going to buy it :D

Last question.. Anything new will be released soon ? should i wait or go with it :D?

Edit : I read some earphones(UE900) have problem with sound ( Sound will disappear sometimes, any idea about newer versions? ) and i heard pinhole could be blocked by earwax and its difficult to clean?

What about the Westone W40 Earphone ?
