New to Head-Fi, looking for DIY amp recommendations

Hi, I've been building my own audio gear for a few years now and would like to build a desktop headphone amp. I have the MINT (Meta42 in a tin) amp but am selling it because I want something that doesn't require mini 1/8" connectors and batteries. I've looked around a bit and "The Wire" looks like the best bet at the moment, but does anyone else have any other recommendations? Thanks!

I'm guessing you have been hanging out at DIYAudio... wink.gif

There are many ways to go - and the DIY forum here at head-fi is probably a good source of info. There are sometimes group buys for PCB boards and such. I'll list a few other resources, but you might already be familiar with some or all of these.

I've spent a bit of time at DIY Audio but I've mostly been building recording equipment from over at GroupDIY and stompboxes through freestompboxes. Thanks for all the links, the JDS link in particular, and for the heads up about the DIY forum here!
