Are these Beats By Dre Studios Real or Fake?

Thread Starter

I'm pretty set on bidding on these beats on eBay: https://www.you-verify.com/7c0940

The youverify report has pretty much sold it but can someone on here tell me if they're definitely authentic? Cba to fritter my cash so any help by someone who knows more than me would be appreciated. Cheers

Just don't get beats if you are looking for sound quality...

If you are looking for bass heavy non- noise cancelling headphones, the v-moda m-80 and the v-moda crossfade lp would be great.

If you are looking for bass heavy noise cancelling, the velodyne vquites are great.

What kind of sound are you looking for?

Equipment?

If you really want Beats (there are countless threads about Beats alternatives for way cheaper and better SQ), just don't pay attention to how genuine they are. The fake ones actually sound better to me (less drooling overall sound), and some of my non audiophile friends absolutely couldn't tell the difference.

Here are graphs, they are basically the same : http://en.goldenears.net/11063 .

Though build quality might be worse on the fakes.

Then yeah, as everyone will tell you, beats studios/pros are more like neckrings than proper headphones.
