Need help choosing a pair of inexpensive headphones use in office, driven by AQ dragonfly

Hi all, My Senn 485 is retired and I need a new headphone using in office (can be open ended), I have audited the following

Sony MDR 7506: light and comfort, but very harsh treble, I cannot stand it

Grado SR80i: warm vocal and guitar, but no sound stage, bass is too weak

Shure 440/840: very detailed, sound stage is good for a closed can, vocal is good too, bass is a bit blurred, but it is too bulky.

UE 4000: light, the sound is good in general

AKG 451: kinda light-weighted sound, good for acoustic music, but bass is too light

Skullcandy Aviator: Bad sound for the price

PSB M4U 2: bulky but sound very good, but it is out of my budget :(

If Shure is not that bulky I will choose it, but now I still have no can that I like a lot. Can you give me some suggestion? thanks

My music taste are mainly pop and electronic dance music, but i listen to jazz and classical sometimes too.

Hi,

Shure 840 is a great pick, you should also consider SoundMagic HP100.

Best Luck!

How about AKG Q701? $199 seems a steal. Can AQ dragonfly drives it well?

AKG Q701 are very good headphones that sound great with classical and also very good with well recorded jazz and acoustic music, but you could find their sound not really engaging for Pop and EDM.

Some people prefer soundstage over punchy response for EDM. Some hate sibilance (that is always there when pairing quite bright headphones with compressed recordings like most Pop ones). I think it's down to preference, and a pretty personal thing at this point.
