I'm intrigued by the story so far. Working in retail I can't help but wonder what "Chapter 29: Worst. Customer. Ever." is going to have in store. Subbed!

Right on!

Hey all,

I just wanted to drop in and say, "Thanks for the support!"

I've had a heck of a time digging up old images from the Sumo and Theta days (they are on, er, black and white film, a holdover from my days in the darkroom), but I hope to have some up between now and the next chapter on Wednesday.

From there, it gets a lot easier to find imagery...and even some hilarious video from when we were still in a garage...

All the best,

Jason

Mind if I ask about the headband? Clearly that's not the stock PS500 band.

Also, if anyone's proofreading, clearly I meant thread in my post, and not threat!

As an engineering student, techie, and appreciator of music: This is some good Schiit!

The leather headband is from http://www.turbulentlabs.com and the metal rod blocks and gimbals are from http://www.martincustomaudio.com

They are both a very nice upgrade to the stock ones.

Love the story so far, and can hardly wait to read the rest.

Hopefully, there might be copies available for purchase, once it is printed, through the Schiit site (and maybe include an autograph or something... ;) )

If you have anything from your short time at Magnavox I would love to seem them.  As I was reading this I had to call my wife because her father was the Director of Ops or COO or something at Magnavox APS for years.  I think he left around '89 or '90 but he was with the company for 30 years.

Ha, then yes we may have crossed paths, though I was a lowly engineer. There are no photos from Magnavox APS—we were working on classified spread-spectrum communications equipment, and I had to go past two scrambling keypads and a guard to get into the lab. They wouldn't have been too thrilled about photos, to put it mildly.

Nice upgrades. Thanks for the info.  I may just do the same with my PS500.  Right now, rocking the PS500 with the Vali and quite enjoying it.
