Audio-technica ATH-M50 slight wobbling 3.5mm jack

Hello! Im new here in head-fi.. I searched threads here and found nothing about this little OCD concern..=D

I bought my m50 yesterday and after some switching to phone to ipod shuffle (plugging/unplugging), i noticed that the barrel/metal casing(silver part) that holds the 3.5mm jack(gold part) is a little bit loose.. if attached to ipod shuffle and shake it while holding the barrel, i can hear and feel some clicking.. if i hold the jack firm and rotate the barrel, the clicking is still present. It feels like the connection of the barrel and the jack is loose, which i think is held by only two dents on the barrel.. No effects to the sound output though..

Just want to ask (1)if some of you is experiencing this issue? (2)will this cause problems in the future? (3)can this be fixed? (4)how do i prevent the worsening of the loose parts? Thanks a lot guys!! =)

That could get annoying. Somebody sent me their M50's once to perform the detachable cable mod on them, and also shorten their stock cable. Their 3.5mm connector was doing something similar, I ended up just putting some clear heat shrink over the whole thing, that kept it from moving around. They werent really concerned about it, I just figured I would make it a little better for them.
