Looking for budget closed cans.

Hello,

I'm looking to give two people closed cans as a present. They mostly listen to pop music and hip hop. Because I'm buying it for two people, I don't want to spend more than about $70 on each of them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Side note: I have already read through the headphone buying guide but they did not have a lot of options for my price range. I'm wondering if anybody has better suggestions or user input.

IMO, for closed back cans in that price range, you can't really do much better than these. They were going for around $200 about a year ago.

Also check out these for $43

Lifetime warranty and so far I'm pretty happy with them

Gemini HSR-1000 (Takstar Pro 800) closed headphones.

For something good for portable use, JVC HA-S500 headphones.
