Hi guys,

I'm new to the world of headphones.  I don't know too much about them but I've done a bit of research myself.  I'm looking for a decent set of closed headphones for around the $100-$150 range (or less if it's possible).  I mainly listen to rock music.  Some of my favs are Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, AC/DC (just to give you an example of what I'll be listening to).  I've got two in mind in the Shure SRH440s and the AudioTechnica ATH-M50s.  Let me know what you guys think in terms of quality, more specifically to my music type.  Noise isolation is also something that's important to me as I'll likely be using these on my commute in the morning on the noisy subway.

Thanks for your help

I think you're looking at two good choices in that price range, the other might be the Senn HD280 if isolation is important.
