Bose StayHear+ Tips MODDED to my Sony XBA-4 IEM!

I got the new Bose StayHear+ Tips because of the better isolation they are supposed to deliver and staying in my ear while I workout. However, I did not realize the only fit to Bose IEMs. So I had to 'adhesive" them to the IEM, but I can always take them off if I want and then further added a foam insert.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

For whatever reason, the soundstage sounds different, good different (more dynamic and energetic). I don't know if i am experiencing some sorta placebo but just an observation. I like the tips and the isolation is fine, not better than my previous foam Sony tips though I admit.

Nobody...

I'm not surprised that the sound stage was enhanced. I think the Bose IE2 has a wonderful sound stage.

Does the foam insert provide isolation? I find the QC20i doesn't isolate much but the NC circuitry makes up for the lack of isolation.

Minimal isolation increase, I took them out due to fitting issues.

those look nice. I tried something similar with my m-duo's, but I didn't like the fit with my weird ears.

Just so I'm clear, how do you "adhesive" them to the iem? This looks interesting and I'm thinking of trying this out.

honestly, I just superglued them haha. I can always pull them off if I want and there would probably be just a little residue thats all.

Oh ok, I was thinking I was going to have to attach the Bose tips to some other ear-buds and then onto the IEM, I'm looking to order the tip from amazon right now. Thanks for the tip.

How much are those Bose tips?

The ones I ordered from Amazon were 9.95 for two pairs of medium. I hope they're the right size because they only send one size in an order.
