Looking for recommendation for cans in $50-70 range

Long story short, my wife broke my super budget Sennheiser's HD 201. I do not care if it was Intentionally or not, but I told myself that every time she breaks something, I will get it replaced with new item costing twice as much. Since MSRP for the HD 201 is $30, I can spend something between $50 and $70. I need those headphones for my laptop (watching movies, playing games, etc). They are not needed for hi-fi music or portable use. For that I have other cans. The only two requirements are: over the ear (that covers the whole ear and does not sit on top of it, correct?) and mini audio jack. So the comfort is the key here.

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I did some digging thru the past topics and found two headphones that look interesting and are in my price range:

Sennheiser HD 439

and

Gemini HSR 1000

I will look also at the Creative Aurvana Live cans.

They look very similar to the AKGs that I have. Actually, too similar. That's why, I would like to get something else. Thanks for the recommendation though.

Hi,

Gemini HSR-1000 is probably one of the best picks under 100.

You can read and ask about them here:

Best Luck!

Just wanted to update that I got Koss DJ100 cans. They arrived today and after about 2 hours worth of listening, I have to say that I like them a lot.
