[EQ] Behringer DEQ2496 - has anything risen above it yet?

Hey all, just looking at the features and abilities of this EQ - pretty amazing stuff for our use.

Just wondering if anyone has used it - I've heard mixed reports about it's frequency response if not using the digital in/out sections.

Also, has anything come along and surpassed it? I'm struggling to find a domestic-use hardware EQ for headphones.

X2

This is the only piece of pro-audio gear I have ever considered - when its time to get serious about speakers...but I would love one to have advanced crossfeed and speaker simulations done in the digital domain for headphone use.

Actually this piece can be surpassed with a laptop for advanced digital EQ and DSP...but for speaker use I don't think there is better value.

Ah. I wanted an EQ over a range of sources, for headphones. It's difficult to find.
