H2O, how would you say this compares to the h-300 you have been gushing about lately? tongue.gif

He didn't really like the old version, but apparently the new one is a lot less sibilant.

Great writeup. You mentioned some driver flex. How bad is it? Like mtpc bad? Or just present if you try to shove in the 3x's straight in?

For me, I get a slight flex when I try to push it in, nowhere as near as bad as MTPC or Silver Bullet

It's a bit worse than the DN-1000 for me.

hmmm, a part of me says "go for it!! they sound enticing!", and the other part says "wait for more feedback or go for h-300". My wallet is starting to sweat :p

If the sibilance is really fixed, then they are a wonderful sounding IEM.

Yea, I can certainly see that some of you are very excited about the retuned version of the 3x's.  Gonna go for it I think... Really want more excitement and dynamics out of my music coming from my 4.ai's.

If you can wait for 2 more weeks mate, there will be 2 more impressions coming here, then you can make up your mind.

But yeah, as I mentioned above, the way I hear it, is exactly like what @billymav heard

I have not tested it with any real metal tunes, I've only gone as far as rock (Lenny Kravitz, Guns N'Roses, etc) and I have to admit it sounds excellent. The transparency, imaging, and timbre are just superb.

QUICK UPDATE - @audionewbi has pull out of the tour, so yeah whenever @billymav is ready, @svyr will have it next, then @d marc0, then @H20Fidelity at the very end will have it again, since the one he did first was the sibilant version
