I have a profound hearing loss, about 80 dB in the low tones, 110 in the mid tones and more than 120 dB in the high tones.
I'm an electronics-ICT engineer, and I'm looking for earphones/headphones that can give the loudest output, so I can engineer custom software and hardware, connect the ear/headphone with it and try making a portable solution that could be used as an hearing aid.
I'm currently using Naida hearing aids. For the technically inclined, the datasheet can be found here: http://www.phonakpro.com/content/dam/phonak/b2b/C_M_tools/Hearing_Instruments/Naida_S/Documents/02-gb/Datasheet_Naida_S_IX_UP_GB_V1.00.pdf
I believe that the datasheet says it can produce sounds up to 134 dB. I need something stronger than this, or at least equally strong.
(My hearing aids are okay, but I really want to tinker around with frequency shifting and amplifying certain frequencies more/less myself. I can ask the audiologist to do certain things, but I would like the freedom to be able to fine tune everything myself)
Anyone that could help me out with this?
Thank you very much.
