I'm new here but I've been looking on this forum for several hours a day for about a week and I don't know what to do!
I have a pair of Shure SE 215's and I love the sound and detail I get from them! BUT I don't know whether it's a seal problem or if it's the headphones themselves but I'm just not getting the bass I would like from them.
I've had them for almost a year now and I use them for listening to music at work, while working out/running, and just laying around at home.
Side note: I decided I wanted to go wireless and so I went to my local best buy and I was looking for either a pair of Beats Studio Wireless (heard they have improved their sound quality on various reviews on Amazon) or Sony MDR-1RBT. Well, they had neither and so I settled on a pair of Sony MDR-10RBT. I have put about 25-30 hours of play time on them in 2 days (yes, not much) but they dont have near as much sound quality or volume as I would like (this being compared to the Shure's). So with that in mind, I'm thinking about returning them.
So I have a few questions:
1) Are there any Bluetooth headphones that will satisfy my need for sound quality of the Shure's and more prominent bass? IE or On/Over Ears. Prefer over ear vs on ear but either will do.
2) Should I just stick with my Shure's and buy better tips or an amp?
3) Should I buy another pair of wired headphones?
Budget is $100-$250 --- $300 if they are Bluetooth.
Any and all advice will be taking into consideration!
Another side note: I have a JL 13W7 in my car powered by a JL1000.1 amp, so you know I love my bass! I don't know if you all think this is a quality subwoofer or not but it has treated me well!
Also, my brother bought a pair of these for $25 and they get pretty loud and have a lot of bass but its somewhat muddy. Could you give me your impressions of these headphones?
Thanks in advance!!
