Hey all. I recently purchased a DT 880/600 and after listening to it for a bit noticed a rattle in the right driver that occurs when lower frequencies are played. I did some searching and came to the conclusion that it is likely a hair on the driver. So I disassembled the driver and used scotch tape to pick up any debris, despite not finding any on visual inspection. Reassembled and plugged them in to try, and the rattle is still there. So, at this point I'm quite lost, as I have checked the driver for hairs and cleaned it, despite not finding any. I also checked the back of the driver for loose construction as suggested by some posts I found while searching. And yet the rattle persists. Does anyone have some input as to possible causes and fixes at this point? I ruled out my source as I used a different set of headphones to listen and did not experience the rattle, so I am fairly certain it is the driver itself. Any help or advice is appreciated.
