Earbuds for girlfriend?

I promised to get my GF some earbuds for her birthday. I was thinking of getting something more expensive like the SoundMagic E10. They have really good reviews, but I'm thinking that my girlfriend won't really care about the difference. Unfortunately, a lot of people aren't too picky about sound quality as long as it beats the ipod headphones.

So I'm thinking maybe something cheaper would be appropriate? Plus I'd be able to get her a necklace or something. I found that these have really good reviews (http://www.testfreaks.com/headphones-headsets/sony-mdr-ex37/ AND MORE REVIEWS HERE http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-EX37B-BLU-Earbud-Headphones/dp/B007BY3OTW)

Thoughts and other suggestions?

Thanks!

Why earbuds?, if she has a player they will probably have come with them, try klipsch s4`s or maybe some cheap senheisers, you can get them around $35 on sales, i think radioshack had a sale recently on earphones, not sure if its still on though.

If she's anything like my gf, and has a smartphone, she'll really appreciate a 3-button smartphone remote. More than she could even realize right now. So if you're gonna get the E10, which many say is great, look into the smartphone cabled version.

Or he can get her the ER-4. Guaranteed to scare away most women with the tri-flange attached. Seriously. Then he could keep them for himself. biggrin.gif

Bump.

Are the headphones I posted (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-EX37B-BLU-Earbud-Headphones/dp/B007BY3OTW) okay? They have very good reviews and I don't think she needs amazing in-ear headphones worth $50.

Also, she currently has no headphones because her broke and listens to music every now and then on her ipod.

they have good reviews, if you like them and think she would like them then i would get em. i ran this past my gf and she was on the same tip like you said, she wouldnt really be into amazing earphones. so good price, good reviews i dont see a problem.

you said you have 50.00 for the whole gift. what else are you getting her/

Some girls like deep insertion ;)

Back on track, get her the E10, they are not expensive, sound great and have excellent build quality. Or the Dunu Trident DN-12, also well built and cheap

Thanks for the replies again. The E10's are nice but my problem with them is that they would take up pretty much my entire budget for the present and she is not the type of person that listens to music that often that they would be worth it.

With the Sony ones, I'd have $30 left over which I could spend on a necklace or w/e (suggestions?). I think that's what I'm going to get.

Thanks all!
