What did you like/dislike about the HE-300 sound? What are you using the headphones for?

use for music, all genres, lossless with foobar and onboard realtek, no metal =]] its sound seems good for all-rounder.

gaming and movie too, but they arent important.

Have you tried this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Headband-Cushion-Pad-fit-BEYER-HiFiMAN-DENON-SONY-KOSS-BOSE-BEATS-DRE-Headphones-/200799150982) for HE 300?

what type of sound signature do you look in the new headphone? more bass? wider sound stage? elaboarate

In which way does it hurt? Do the cups push too hard on your ears? Or is it the sound itself that gives you a headache (some people get headaches with high treble)?

I had a similar issue at first. The headphones became too painful to wear. Have you followed the recommendation in the manual? (see image). I did this every time I wore them for a couple of days, and now the headphones have fully adapted to my head, and I can wear them for hours (even forgetting they are there).

how long?

How long in terms of days? 2 or 3. How long should you bend the headband for? Just two short extensions per listening session.

Until it fits better.
