Don't remember anyone online ever describing images reposted with links to source as "thieves" pictures

Very few web sites watermark images except professional photography examples, and this was done at a earlier public audio event with Oppo UK or Oppo FR present.

Any ideas how much the HA-1 will go for? Sub 1k US?

The only public comments regarding pricing were from CES 2014, when Oppo reps did state that the HA-1 is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2014, and will be offered at a price “around” $1200 with a two-year warranty.

Still at TBD state, and under NDA.

Thanks higher than what I'd think Oppo would sell this unit but then the quality of it does look outstanding. Anyone has any impression about its sound quality?

Haha, sorry... should've come out as these!

There have basically been only two or three impressions, all favorable, but not informative enough to dig them up...

I've got quite a few amps/dac in my collect and all I could say is the HA-1 will be worth the wait.

Knowing Oppo's integrity, I figured as much. Just wish they'd hurry up and officially announce it so the Beta testers and reviewers can start the hype train. I'm looking forward to impressions.

With any luck, the HA-1 will be end game for my HD800.

Same here, I would not want to go buy anymore of desktop quality amp/dacs, one will suffice. Now hope they release the HA-1 soon.

Does that slick amp stand come with it?!

WOW! That looks awesome seeing both the amp and the headphones side by side on their premium stands.
AFAIK, those are the first pics and detailed info about the HA-1 on the web.

Is the stand actually an anti-vibration stand?... or just a nice piece to sit the amp on? Either way it looks beautiful.
I know the amp is very solid and heavy, so the stand will have to be solid too to support the amp.
