Thanks man. I usually don't like the unboxing posts on reddit too much, but I couldn't help myself. I do love that subreddit - @keanex does a fantastic job IMHO.

That's my girlfriend ;) all purchases must be approved by her.

I demoed the LCD-X, honestly I preferred the LCD-2. It was more to my tastes, and I prefer the way it looks. I sold a ton of mid-fi to get these, it was absolutely worth it.

The way I look at it, why have a heap of cans on display I never use.. When I can have ONE pair I use all the time? :basshead:

Nice! Now I want one too! Man, this hobby turns you into a little kid
What are you using to power these suckers?

Just the old faithful Aune T1 and Head-Direct EF1 setup.

Any recommendations on a good amp for these? I'll admit, the Aune alone does a fantastic job.

We should catch up to try out the S.E.X. and Mainline with them.

Absolutely.

I'd be keen to hear the Crack too (if you still have it). I've heard they don't pair well, but I want to see for myself..

She actually loves that I have a TOTL - it now means she has my D5000s all to herself. I've noticed they have started living on her bedside table... Curses.

Cool. I'm starting to think that the Crack is meant to stay here with me! ;)

I'll get in touch offline over the weekend and see if we can find a time some time soon...

Wonder if the Magni does well with the LCD-2, that would make an LCD-2 setup affordable for me hehehe
