I reused some of the images from the original seller. But I will take the main 2 photos on my camera. I just don't a good camera so I preferred to use the majority from this thread: The link I bought these from: http://www.head-fi.org/t/677791/upgraded-audeze-lcd-2-caribbean-rosewood-many-extras
Up for sale are my Audeze LCD-2 Rev. 1 with many upgrades and extras. The Rev. 1 is an entirely special headphone that sounds like nothing I've ever heard. The low end and mids are both some of the most powerful and lush I've had the experience of hearing. If you look at the forums here, you'll see that there are many people who adore and prefer the sound profile of Rev 1 over Rev 2. On this unit, the wood is the best color they have ever been, with no cracks. The yoke blocks are the metal Rev 2 version, recently upgraded by Audeze. The grill is the A shape. I regularly polish the wood on these cans, and also use Skidmore's Leather Cream on the lambskin leather pads to keep them soft, supple, and welcoming to the ears. The cost of rosewood cans have now gone up to $1,145 to reflect the rising cost of the exotic wood. The LCD2 Rev1 has been compared to the LCD3 sound signature many times over the past couple years - closer sound to the LCD3 than the LCD2 Rev2.
This set comes with the following extras:
1. Rev 2 lambskin leather ear pads (currently installed) - original cost of $80
2. Rev 1 ear pads
3. Rev 2 yokes
4. Rev 2 1/4" cable and Rev 1 - 1/4" cable (ADZ-6 cable) – original cost of $80. Great Canare stock cabling.
5. Luxury Cherry Wood case. This color is no longer available, and looks stunning
6. Audeze Wood Polish
Willing to trade for HD800 or HE500. Amps and DAC deals are welcome to talk about. I love this can, and I plan to either go with the mentioned cans or LCD-3.
