Need some help choosing a good (and not over-priced) headset for gaming/music listening

Hi guys. So, I started this thread because I need some help to choose a new headset for home (only) use. Some months ago I bought a Razer Kraken Pro with my notebook. It's not the best headset in the world (far from it) but it is quite reliable in my opinion (at least for games). But then, when I want to listen  something from my music lib (basically power/symphonic/melodic metal + some classic and blues) I can feel that I'm missing a lot of quality. - And even more after I used a Sennheiser HD 203 that my roommate bought recently (a good one, even though I can feel that it's not that good after I put the loudness of my music player above 50% ).

So, all I want from you guys is a suggestion on what exactly I should be looking for to get the maximum while playing games and, at the same time, while listening to music.

What is your price range?

Are you looking for headphones or a headset (headphones + mic). I suppose you could just get any headphones and a Zalman mic.

I think a good headphone would be the best (as I almost don't use my mic). About the price range, no more than 200 bucks.
