I am looking at the Shure SE215 and Sony XBA-4IP to use with my iPhone 5 and I am unsure if the Sony would be suitable for that with its low impedance.  Which one would be preferable?   I listen mostly to pop music with Spotify's extreme sound quality.  The cost is more or less the same which is why the Sony is tempting.

Thank you!

I'm not going to be able to give a great recommendation because I haven't tried the Sony, but I don't think you can go wrong with the Shures. They are the most comfortable IEMs I've tried. I thought they worked real well with my iPhone 5. They have great noise cancellation. They are also tough as nails. I've accidentally washed them with my clothes twice and they still work like new.

Thank you for your reply.  The Shure SE215 definitely seem like the most solid choice.

I'm sorry not much help for you on here. Did you make a decision? I'm curious as to what you found as comparisons between the two.
