Hey fools. 20% off on headphone.com when signing up for their mailing list! That's huge. $100 off the 400i and $180 off the 560 :P

Will owners of older HEs be able to buy the new headband from you guys, to replace the older HE headband assembly? Please say yes.

I' be interested in the answer to that question also.

We know the answer already from Fang, which was no. The new headbands are incompatible with older HFMs and so won't be sold separately.

Jerg,  do you recommend me replacing my stock HE-500 pleather earpads with the new hybrid 560 pads comfortwise? or soundwise?

Comfort-wise it's a no-brainer, it's going from 5/10 to a 9.5/10 (I find the prerelease hybrid pads to be 10/10 in comfort, these production ones are just a hair less perfect but still better than vast majority of other pads). Sound-wise with HE500, it should be a substantial improvement upon stock pleathers, though for my preference my earpad mod adjusts HE500's tonal balance the best.

Thanks Jerg, that strongly inclines me to pull the trigger on those new pads.

update:  trigger pulled

Shipping alone to the UK costs upwards for 200? That doesn't make sense.

No it doesn't, hence their lost sale.

Email them. That might be an error.

The problem with the sale is a think you loose the 30 day return tryout

 Damage done....

shipped with UPS, I'm not shocked by the rate then.

If they could ship via USPS, it would be great (much cheaper for sure)
