Decided to inquire about the delay..

Herd it was one of the engineers fault..

I think I found the culprit...

What if the production models look radically different that what was posted in pics before? Ha, ha. Wouldn't that be a hoot? Like something out of a comedy routine. I think there would be a pause on the thread for processing and shock.

It's because of all this anticipation.

I was going to suggest camping out in front of the NJ HiFiMan store, ala iPhone releases. Or maybe having a convention there. We could call it HiFiManicon or HiFiMan Canicon.

This has got to be the most anticipated release I can think of. Can you think of any others?

the jade 2. I have the same degree of anticipation for these cans, as the Christians have for the second coming of Christ.

Haha, +1 I guess

I wasn't worried about them till I just went through battle of the flagships hoping to find a phone I would want that I can afford and although I knew the original jade was ranked so high I hadn't noticed the price before. I think I might just save lol. Hopefully amps won't be too much for it. I like the idea of having a headphone that I can lay down with comfortably too

HFM could learn a thing or two from Dan, Mrspeaker about keeping the hype for their new products by feeding the community more pics and up to date info. :p

I think they are communicative enough ;D I just hope they'll be released soon and that the issues have been ironed out... Since I've already paid for them ^…^

I doubt if they have even started any production on the HE-560 and HE-400i.  All the hype?  They haven't even determined what the final product will actually be.  Can't start building something that hasn't completed testing/changes etc!  I would bet the final product won't be in our hands before the end of April....not including the review samples!  Can't be any word on something that hasn't yet materialized!

+1, I share the same estimation as you based on what I've seen so far.  We could be wrong though.  I do hope we are!

The hype train has even stopped in it's tracks....no more momentum.  The anticipation was created at CES 2014, and now there is nothing to back it up.  I wouldn't doubt if the Oppo PM-1 hits the pavement first!  March?  Only six working days left!

That would be funny to see.  I am a HFM fan myself after owning the HE500 and still hunting for a bargain HE-6 :D

I am a little anxious to try the 560 since it's said to be voiced after the HE-6 but as I said more updated info, pics, whatever... like on the super hyped Alpha Dog thread could be beneficial to both HFM and us, fans.

Actually, the end of April might not be all that bad.  For those of us in the U.S., some of us might be getting tax refunds and have a need to spend the money.  :p

Maybe that's what they're waiting on......the IRS
