They seem too squishy, but the material did appeal to me, but they are pricier than I'm willing to spend to test them out.

I haven't been really interested on getting another pair of cans for awhile (been more than happy with the MA900 as my single main can), but I'd give my left foot for a 400i... I REALLY want one, but won't be able to afford it. tongue.gif

I'll take just your Big and Pinky toe for the purchase of a 400i!

for the new pads, would you guys recommend to retro fit them to the existing HiFiMan models?

Yes, based on what we are hearing right now it will bring noticeable improvement to both the sound quality and comfortable level. The best part is that you don't need to break a leg to get them. will be priced very reasonable.

No words on pricing.

He is a very close friend of Dr. Fang. When we were fine tuning our flagship music player HM-901, he provided us a lot of hi-res tracks. Absolutely one of the nicest guys in this industry.

hehe....it is cool. if we absolutely didn't want ppl to know about it, we wouldn't even bring it to the CES show. It is not a secret that we have a e-stat headphone on our plan. We have been working on it for quite a while already. This is going to be a great year for head-fiers especially our great Hifiman fans. ;-)
