Look for a used PS audio ultimate outlet HC (high current) or a Richard Gray RGPC400. Although I think the PS audio UO is better, but it only have 2 outlets vs the RGPC400 4 outlets. I think either one is better than the monster 3500 I had. But that could be due to the fact that I've completely separated my digital from analog with the two units.

On the cheap side, which is preferrable? Furman, Oneac, Powervar, used brickwall?

I'd go for the brickwall made for audio (this reco is just from what I've read). I believe the brickwall made for audio have some filtering vs the brickwall surge suppressor only units do not have any filters built in.

edit: personally, I'd go for the HTS3500 from monster (and that's what I had before I upgraded). You can find a used one for about $200 on agon.

I'd look for a used BPT Jr Mk II. You should be able to pick one up for between $200-$250. I'm using one of these in my office system and the improvement is not subtle.

I went searching on agon for the models that were mentioned and came up with this sucker: http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls....owr&1088942142

anyone have any testimonies, first hand or not?

I am also looking at the Monster HTS5100 or HTS5000 MKII. They both use the Stage 4 V2 filtering and are both currently listed on their website. Do you know the difference between the two?

Hi!

I live in europe and its hard to find a good/reasonably priced power line conditioner with 240V voltage input(IEC connectors) and coaxial cable/ethernet cable protector. Anyone know a good manufacturer other than Furman which is pretty expensive compared to products sold in the US with the same properties.

I have read another thread about using computer UPSes as regenerators and they cost only one tenth of what regenerators made for HIFI cost.
