Need help identifying headphones!

Hi everyone! I am new here and need some assistance identifying a pair of what I believe are on-ear headphones. I was not able to add an image so I uploaded it to a page on my website at:

I am sorry the picture is not very good quality and I enhanced it so bring out as much detail as possible!

I really appreciate your help as I would like to purchase a pair of these headphones. I am working on my masters degree in architecture and have headphones on almost 24/7 while designing and building. I currently have a pair of over the ear Sennheisers which I absolutely love! Thanks again for your help... I am going crazy trying to find out what these are; I figure if anyone can figure this out it would be here!

Hi stitch627,

That is a Sennheiser HD 25, or one of it's variants.  It is generally considered a very good supraaural headphone, and there are no shortage of fans for it here at Head-Fi.  If you are interested in getting this, I would suggest the HD 25-1-II variant, or a Sennheiser Amperior (which is a derivative of the HD 25).

Thanks warrenpchi! I will look into them! I currently have Sennheiser HD558 and I love them and wear them for hours on end when working! From all the posts I see I had no doubt someone here could help me! Thanks so much... I am glad I found this forum. I LOVE my music... all types of genres at different moments, and I have become somewhat of a sound prude when it comes to my headsets. I am 38 and work around students young enough to be my kids who are all wearing Beats... which I detest at every level! Thanks again!

Same here!  It's the same for a lot of us here I think.  We love music so much that we can't stand to be without it.

Like you, I pretty much listen to all genres... well, almost.  I find it hard to get into Rap, Metal, and Chinese Opera.

Lol, there's no need to get into that here.  But let's just say that, in me, you have run into one of their most vocal critics.  ;)

Yeah, totally right?  Oh, which reminds me... stitch627, welcome to Head-Fi!   Sorry about your wallet.  :o

That IS a good deal!   stitch627, I personally find the Amperior to all of the other HD 25 variants (except for the the new HD 25 Aluminum Edition, which I have not heard yet).  And since their full retail price is $349, that $149 deal that billybob posted is - well - excellent!

Why you want those headphones so badly?

I'm guessing that's because he hasn't seen a photo of the DT-1350 yet.  :p

I need a good second pair to keep at home or in the architecture studio. Nothing starts a day off bad when you realize you forgot your headphones and have a long day ahead. I have a junkie backup pair of earbuds in my desk (but they suck), because not having any music would be even worse!

The picture is one of my friends out of country that has pretty awesome taste in sound quality, so I figure I would look them up as a option.

I have always loved the Sennheiser quality for the price and I am sure being here, as a newbie, I will find more ways to spend my money (I don't have) as I look into other models and brands; possibly a good graduation present when I finish my second masters degree... That way I don't feel so guilty lol!

Any recommendations for a pair that would be good for working out, running and long boarding?
