FS: FiiO E18 Kunlun Portable Android Dac + Amp (Works with certain Apple products as well as PC)
Will Ship To: USA & Canada + Local Pickup
I'm selling my FiiO E18 Kunlun portable DAC/Amp. This unit is in great condition and has only been used shy of 2 months. Purchased from Headroom when first released, the unit is very impressive for price and size. The E18 can be used with certain Android, Apple Products, and a PC Dac/Amp. Couple of features are line-out, coaxial-out (use as a transport), head-phone out, Lo/Hi Gain, and Bass boost. It also has an ALP volume pot along with the ability to be charged while in use. When not in use, it can act as a portable USB charger to certain devices (charges my Samsung S3 when used as a charger only).
$OLD! Shipping address must be confirmed unless payment is gifted. If you have any questions please feel free to ask via PM. Pictures are from FiiO website, I will take pictures shortly of the actual unit.
FiiO's website has compatibility listing and there is also a thread on Head-Fi from successful pairings with certain devices/android versions. I will include everything that came with the unit, including two wide and two regular size FiiO strap bands, carry pouch, manuals, micro to micro USB OTG cable (also an extra reversed micro to micro in case you prefer to strap your E18 the opposite direction on your phone, you won't have a twist on the cable). There are 2 stick-on rubber footings on the unit and 2 extra in the package, two of them fell off and left the sticky adhesive on the casing. I will try to get that off before taking pictures. The pot has noise while changing volume but when it's set, sound is clear. There is also EMI when strapped to a phone and the phone has Wifi, almost all E18 users are experiencing this (check head-fi thread) and is part of the design. With the Wifi off, unit sounds good.
I'm also interested in a Schiit Lyr, Vali, or Project Ember to trade, +/- cash.
Here's an unboxing video I made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shwHM3F-lKg
