Looking for new 'Walking' over ear, open phones

Hi,

I've started walking to and from work which takes about an hour each way. I've been using my 1964 quads but because I can hear my footsteps and can't hear the traffic I was thinking of buying some new phones for my commute.

I guess I'm looking for something on or over ear, under £100 perhaps, able to cope with the elements. I used to use Cowon players but recently I've been using a Clip+ and also my HTC One for Spotify. I don't use it but I have a FiiO E5 amp lying around. I'd be open to upgrading them too.

I've already got some Grados. Alessandro MS-1s but I find them a little uncomfortable especially when I'm sweating a bit and the lead is awfully long for walking with. I've also got Sennheiser 280 Pros but I'd rather have them open for safety.

So, any ideas?

Oh yeah, I'm in UK so...

Not many... What about Yamaha Hph-200? They are great (warm) all-rounders with convincing timbres. Not the most confortable headphones on Earth for sure, but I have used them for an hour or two without any troubles. They are compact and well built. They come with velour-like earpads and good cable for portability purposes. No extra amplification needed.

Best Luck!

Koss ksc-75 perhaps... Maybe sony ma900 if you want to pay that much. Is said to be very light and comfortable. Hmm, I have heard that sennheiser px100 is fairly aerodynamic (eg. not too noisy when the wind is blowing).

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Those Sonys look interesting especially. I ordered some Koss Porta Pros in the meantime as I'd been meaning to try them out for a while and they're pretty cheap but I'll be almost certainly looking to buy a better pair of 'walkers' soon enough.
