i manly play fps games like BF4, CS:GO, Arma 3 and others and i also like to see movies but most gaming

i want a headphone there can live op to this requirements:

  • around 180-250£(i can go little bit higher if is necessary) for all the gear i need for best audio experience i can get for the money
  • i want to hear enemy footsteps and want explosions to be loud and "good"
  • they need to be comfortable as possible they can be, because i will wear this thing like 2-6 hours at the time
  • it will be bonus if they are "nice" looking

So where are you located?

Audio Technica ATH-AD700 or ATH-AD700X seem to be about the most desired headphones for FPS gaming.

Also check out the Sennheiser HD558s.

Denmark, does that mean you like to sit around listening to Aqua while playing with your Legos:rolleyes:

So your into FPS gaming, like watching movies and I'm assuming you like to listen to music too (lots of Aqua?)

Open headphones are considered to be better for surround sound.

(there are a few closed headphones are considered good for surround sound too).

I'm assuming your currently using a windows PC and on-board audio.

AKG K612 Pro 120-Ohm (open) headphones, 144 Euros.

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Z sound card.,  Euros??

The Creative Labs Sound Blaster Z seems to be about the best sound card for the price.

AKG K550 headphones would be a good choice for closed headphones for gaming, but i'm not sure how well the K550 works with the Sound Blaster Z's headphone amplifier.
