If you saw the 350 on Audiogon, that was me! It was actually more like 400 dollars because of shipping and conversion to CAD.

It was on eBay, but it probably was the same seller. Nice find!

Hahaha wow... someone's tax return was spent already... ... :-P

Be sure to post your impressions here as well even if you are not part of the tour!! ;-)

Very first impression: "Wow... these must have been designed by a Geodude."

Why? Two reasons:

1. They look like they would only fit a head as large and round as a Geodude's and I had to do some serious bending to get them to fit my human head.

2. THEY ROCK!

So quiet... :)

PXSS should be next in line.

Mshenay, any impressions so far? :p

Glad you are enjoying them! They do rock indeed.

I haven't had time to write my review but I'll finally be able to get to it after finals next week! I've been unexpectedly busy lately and I expected to get the Didos a bit earlier, sorry!

I guess! Got finals this week and I haven't received any notice from mshenay, so I'm not sure when these are coming and if I'll have the time to carry out a proper review/comparison

Oh crap it's really been since LAST MONDAY

I have the day off tommorow I'll be mailing them out then

I don't have internet at home and I've been pulling doubles so I can afford to pay to get the INternet reconnected

Sadly though... I think the 901 is horrific. For $780 [At least from Moon Audio] it seems like a total rip

the sound stag is cramped, it lacks sub bass extension and control, the mid bass hump is horrible, there's little isntrument seperation :/ I found it to be entirely udnerwhelming, not to mention it feels cheaply made to me, The 3.5mm cable that came with it is shot it doesn't work and the space to plug another 3.5mm into is too small for any of my 3.5mm cables.

so after about 4 days of listening... I didn't listen to it again. Compared to my D2k [Balanced Headphone Cable, Wood Cups, Lawton Driver Dampen and Pads] the didio was... well a bit of a joke. Honestly, my D2k and the 901 have about the same MSRP Value, yet under no circumstances does the Didio 901 sound better or even remotely close... it was un comfortable, and really just a let down

the only positive of the 901 was it's consitency... I can understand why Muppet Face never mentioned anythingn about it.... there's not a lot to say :/

I'l be geting my internet back my this Friday hopefully. I may post a review... won't be to long as I don't want to write a 1000+ rant, but I honestly feel these headphones are a bit of a joke and or a complete rip off... granted I don't own any other "portable" headphones, as everything I've owned has always been full sized, but honestly the DIDO 901 sounded about as good as the UE 6000 imo, well I take that back, the Didio 901 is a bit smoother than the UE 6000, but the UE 6000 had more sub bass extension :/

and I listened to the DIDO 901 out of my NFB10ES2 and my PB2 and even the hm801 HEadphone out.... and every time it sounded... well under whelming.

Oh yea, the right channel is failing on the Dido 901's stock Green Cable, I had an old 3.5mm that I was using for a while.... I won't include it with the headphone to the next person, but hopefully PXSS has smaller 3.5mm than I do. I use my 12" Mono Price 3.5mm at the moment, and it's an GIANT interconnector lol [kinda funny how big it is honestly] but for the record that giant 3.5mm has been to hell and back and still works like a charm, I've ran over it, I've left it in the yard, Ive step on it no matter what I do it keeps working at 100% :3

I would recommend playing with their positioning, move the cups forward and back ect. I agree on the clarity not being up to par but goodness the bass made up for it, it was pounding.

I believe what u are hearing, it sounded similar to me at first. After playing with the fit i ended up getting the desired results.
It took me bloody ages to get the positioning right, but after I did (yesterday lol) they are a dream! I am also using the cable from my V-Mods M-80s, though, because it works better with the form of the headphones.

I should try that and see how it works...  Didn't think about using the V-Moda cables XD  As for the fit, placement makes a difference with any pair of headphones.  Unfortunately for me, the seal is not the tightest or firmest, so that's the reason I don't hear these as a basshead phone :/

Well, crap. I'll most likely have to make a cable for it then. Hopefully I have a 3.5mm connector small enough to fit the cups. Is the entry recessed in any way?
