Advice on my first set of full size headphones

Hi guys, glad to finally be a member here!

I'm looking for a bit advice on what to go with for my first set of headphones, I have read through multiple threads and I am still bamboozled.

I already have a Schiit Magni and Modi waiting for something to have something plugged into them.

My budget is £300 or less, preferably closer to £250. They will be used for gaming, watching films and listening to all types of music such as rock, top 40 (sorry) but mainly EDM so I like having that nice deep bass impact. I have no preference in regards to open or closed headphones.

Thanks guys :)

Hi,

There are many headphones out there for that price but seeing as you said you like nice deep bass impact then I would recommend V-Moda M-100 which gives great bass but at the same time doesn't forget about the rest of the range. Other headphones include the Sony XB400/600/800. From there you can look into Sennheiser Momentum which are not bass heavy cans but more of a all round headphone, there is the B&W P7 which is a little over £300 but does have strong bass with nice mids and clear highs.

There are many more headphones out there but just off the top of my head these are the ones I would recommend. I'm sure some more people will come with more recommendations.
