Thread Starter

Hi i am looking for a set of headphone for gaming and music, i am new to headphones and have no idea what to get. I live in Aus and there are not many option available here that dont cost twice as much as USA. My budget is up to $150 aud max. I've been checking around the forum for what people are recommending and also read Lust guide to gaming headphones but most of the choices are too expensive in aus or not available. Website such as Amazon and Ebay shipping fee is too high as well. So here are some of the option i was looking at

The best sites to buy in our country are..

Jaben Audio
Addicted 2 Audio
Noisy Motel
Headphonic

You can do much better than anything JB hifi offers by using those stores, most of which have free express shipping. And for you I recommend to seriously consider Audio Technica ATH-M50, which you can do some research on and read thereviews. Addicted 2 Audio stock them. Once you read about M50 you will soon discover how popular it is for gaming and music.

Big +1 for this! Also consider the Shure SRH-840, AKG K167

+1

I've dealt with Addicted to Audio and Noisy Motel; they are both highly recommended! I haven't tried the other two but I certainly heard good things about them too...
