the root directory is just the main section of the dx50 right?  not sd or anything else.  Just the main internal drive?

Just a heads up everyone, for those of us cursed with Windows 8, don't add .png to the end of the file name.  The file already assumes that part at the end of the actual file name.  You probably already knew that but just in case anybody else struggled like I did.  (I had a laptop that worked for for the past 9 years that just died.  I was using XP for that entire time then woke up in this windows 8 hell)

NVM haha changed it, just don't add the ".png" on the end... I'm using windows 7 btw

I think that only applies if you set windows 8 to not show the file extensions (i.e. exe, jpg etc.) if they are already known by default on the system.

I'm with DX90, but it does not really matter ;) Made from my favorite Windows wallpaper, with gamma adjusted:
