What kind of DT770s are these, and was this a good purchase? (Used DT770)

I saw that DT770s were recommended, and this price is less than half what you'd pay for them new, so I jumped on them. But I've just realized that these just say 'DT770' instead of 'DT770 PRO', and doesn't say 80 ohms or 250 ohms or whatever else. I'm trying to find information about the differences between the two types of DT770s, but Google isn't helping.

Thanks!

Hmm I've never seen any that looked like that. Even the cable looks different. They could be counterfeit or just really old.

Well they say Professional on the headband, and they do look old. I'm guessing they're something from an old studio closing down etc. Cable is either an older style or a replacement?

I'm no expert on old Beyerdynamics, but the DT770 series have been around a LONG time.

If they're survivors of a studio they're probably 250ohms.

The DT770 Pro 80-Ohm come with a straight cable and the DT770 Pro 250-Ohm come with a coiled cable.

So it looks like an old pair of DT770 Pro 250-Ohm headphones, I would assume the Velour ear pads are worn out.

It's $32.58 for a new pair of Beyerdynamic EDT-770 V Velour ear pads.
