It's automatic (default). You can also see both independently by using folder view.

My learning over my long history in this hobby is that you need to build your set up regardless of home fi or head fi you need to start with the speakers/headphone end to build the system around it

Thanks for that. I do agree.. After trying out the audeze LCD-2 and LCD x It really blew me away! Except that setup would really be a hard mountain to climb right now and doesn't really fit my "portable" criteria..
Any custom iem to recommend? So far really prefer the w50 sound and details, then the se846 to the w60.. I maybe a mainstream listener after all hehe
But the w50 seemed to have a really good impact vs w60 and even the UM Merlin and UM Mage.. Though I did try them at different environments so the comparison is really not fair.. Headphones wise without breaking the bank, akg550 seems to perform better than the kef m500.. Have to go back to try the NAD again though.
Another problem with the ak240.. Transferring files is so tedious.. My unit maybe buggy.. I have to go through several connect disconnect just to get a stable transfer..
Oh and where is the shuffle repeat button? I can't locate it anywhere..

Drag down the top menu.  Tap to cylce through menu options for repeat and etc...it is on the left side of drag down menu.

I tried connecting my iPad mini which has the Qobuz streaming app, to my 240 using the apple camera connection kit.
No luck. Got error message the 240 was draining too much power.
I do use the connection kit to connect the iPad mini to my powered DAC in my Hifi set up and that works fine to play Qobuz streaming through my Hifi.

have you tried a small non-powered hub?  I have one that i use to connect my intruder dac to my iPOD 5th gen.  I had to hide the dac behind the hub for it to work.

That would be amazing if we could use the ipad/iPhone with our AK240!!

I heard Qobuz developed a specific program to buy & download music directly from the AK player but I don't know if it's already available or not. As I bought the AK240 in the USA and not in Europe I thought I couldn't get the Qobuz app for regional issue...
Nope I do everything through my computer and the transfer. Plus I have several DAPs so I need to feed them all.
