Hehe no matter how much a DAP costs, we would still wonder what would it sound like if we mod or add another amp...the moral of our story is there is no such thing called "ultimate"

I believe not.

Here is a copy of a posting on the Qobuz web site.

Coming in September apparently but purchasing and downloading only not streaming.

"Est-ce que l'application Qobuz pour l'AK 240 existe déjà et si oui, comment la

Bonjour,

Qobuz n’est pas encore intégré au système de votre appareil.
Cela aura lieu en septembre.
L’application Qobuz embarquée permettra d’acheter et de télécharger directement depuis votre AK 240. Il ne permettra pas le streaming.

En vous remerciant de votre compréhension et de votre confiance.
Cordialement."

Yes Cosmic! Nothing as ultimate as there will always be something better that comes along, especially with the rate of advancement of technology nowadays!

Just to share, some years back, I read an article online on audio stuff, and I remember reading that for a good source, amp, speakers/ear or headphones, it should be able to sound as good in low volumes as well mid to high volumes, details must be present and yet still has adequate reproduction of all highs, mids and bass. It is easy to make good SQ with moderate to high volumes but extremely difficult for low volumes.

Is this true or is this just a myth ? Anyone?

That's pretty true for everything. Try to move your hand for 10% of 1 meter; now try to move your hand for 10% for 1cm? It would be harder if we're going for accuracy. Noise will be also a problem when the volume is smaller.
