Besides Using Spotify, have you tried   Note3 -> Hugo  with HighRes FIles ?   how does it compare to   AK240 -> Hugo  ?  Is it really much less good SQ ?

hmm. me and my friend have still have this 2.5mm TRRS on our AKR03. i tried to turn 360 degree on this plug and it seems that it can either point right or left to the volume knob, if point outward the screen, one channel will have no sound. The main reason i get the AKR03 Roxanne is because it comes with factory terminated 2.5mm TRRS. sigh.....

Maybe your AK240 is the very first batch/release? Whats your model code for the 240?

I have been hearing the later models are ok with 2.5 balanced...

To put the 240 in your back pocket is a dangerous thing to do in consideration of the fragile 2.5mm

I have been eyeing on Woo Audio WA234 Monoblock Amp, but its too expensive unless i let go of my Naim Uniti2. So it should be WA22 that i will be getting to pair with LCD3. May i ask how do u guys connect the AK240 to the desktop amps? from the previous pages, i understand digital out cannot play DSD, so war cable is recommended if i want to connect through the balanced connection to WA22? the AK line out block is it available yet?

AK240 can output DSD via optical.

seriously you're going to put a $2,500 dap in your back pocket or any jeans pocket plus sit on it?????????????? that's just asking for it to break the 2.5mm plug off and then you have a real $2,500 brick. please consider using a small camera waist bag.

To be honest I've been doing that with all my daps and phones.  Just the 2.5mm connectors seem really fragile so may have to do something else as I really don't want to swap back to single ended 3.5mm.

You've never did it with a $2,500 dap before though, I'd bet. Why court danger? Ted's giving you good advice. A $20 bag to protect $2,500 seems a no brainer.
