I use the lowepro volta 30, its not a snug fit but its not too roomy either, it has a belt loop and provides a decent amount of protection and easy access to the ak240.

I'm also looking for something with a clip.  Unfortunately, most generic phone cases are either too large or thin.

In the meantime, I bought a camera case at Walmart for $5.  Perfect fit and good padding for transport.   Can't really access the buttons though.  However, you can securely zip it up and still have your headphones plugged in.  Good for everyday storage and ordinary use that does not require quick access to the buttons.   Also has a belt loop.  I use a carabiner instead of a belt though.

Might consider something like this in the interim until something better comes up.

You should try the Volta 20. It fits like a GLOVE. It's perfect for me at least.

No tightness on the zipper even with the leather case ON.

Cheers :D

If you're looking for a pocket/handsfree solution, I can vouch for these! - great cases, fit well and very well made.

@Steph86 or AnakChan,

What's the difference between Type A and Type C cases? Is it just the size?

EDIT: Yes, just the size: AK240 = Type A   AK120 = Type C

Hi,

Yes I believe it's just the size - the type C was designed for the AK120 and the type A was designed for the AK240.  Having said that I use Type C with an AK240 (without the leather case) and it fits fine - extends slightly out the top however the whole case can be adjusted by Velcro to compensate for the larger thickness/size of an AK240.

AnakChan may be able to offer more clarity around the differences between the two models. I was also told they're made from Kevlar but again not sure if I misinterpreted this.
