Hi,

The battery life is quoted to last approx 10 hrs - this is of course dependent on many variables which include:

The format and bitrate of music being played

How often the screen is turned on

What headphones you're using

What volume you're playing back at

How many times you skip tracks

whether you're using EQ

What other features are turned on such as Wi-Fi / Bluetooth,

Regards

Steph

I took the plunge and ordered the RWAK240, should ship in a few weeks. However, I'm overseas until mid-June, so it will be a while until get to use it. I also have a set of Roxanne's coming, hope to have them by the time i get home as well.

Hey guys, a quick question: is this card http://www.lexar.com/products/lexar-professional-600x-sdhc-sdxc-uhs-i-cards compatible with the AK240?

It's a little too big for the AK240

Is there any microSD with capacity more than 128GB available for sale at the moment?

No, and even the 128gb one is still relatively hard to get.

They have just announced the 128 about 45-60 days ago after waiting 2 years for it to go into production. You can rig up a adaptor that sit outside the case, there are many posts about it. The 258 capacity is at lest 12 months away at a minimum.

Wow, who's the manufacturer?

It's a con.  They can't build bigger than 128GB card in microsd for now.  Note they list the interface as SATA!

I hate MTP transfers.  I was trying to move folders on the AK240 and it looks like they get copied to the new folder instead of a simple rename.  Takes so long, give me USB mass storage anyday :(

Yeah, I hear you brother. I'm gonna upgrade that micro cable, to a moon audio one, they just came out with one , it's supposed to speed up transfers a bit, or so they say.

I'm going to put permanent songs into the AK240 storage and trial songs onto microsd in an external card reader just for speed of transfer.  For a player with 256GB of storage they need to speed up data transfer.

Anyone have the bug on the AK240 when you add ape files, it reads the tags except for Album.  It files the album as the same name as the artist.  I couldn't workaround that so reconverted the files to flac.  Can someone pls confirm this bug?
