I would like to know how importnant is the source in comparison to the headphones?

I have a cheap mp3 (TrekStore iBeat move M 8GB) and i think of buying a good pair of headphones,so maybe i should buy a good mp3 first?or the headphones can work with this one too??

Generally the headphone will be most important hands down. But it really depends on the efficiency of the headphone as well. If the headphone is something that's meant for mobile use and doesnt require a lot of juice to power it, then by all means u should go for the headphone first.

On the other hand, if you want a headphone like the sennheiser HD800 which needs a ton of juice, using something like an ipod on it is gunna make it sound like a broken 20 dollar headphone.

So generally speaking headphones first. But if youre going more hi fi, maybe player first.

What kind of headphone were you considering?

Garbage in garbage out..So at first, you have to make your source good and capable.

They do say garbage in garbage out. That is true. But with headphones of lower fidelity, it only gets so good. Doesnt matter how high quality the music is. It doesnt matter if i feed my old monsters gratitude through the iphone or through the DX50. The change in sound is minimal compared to upgrading the headphone to something better.

I'm assuming you use the Trekstor on the move.

Check out the JVC HA-S680 folding on-ear headphones, $81 on eBay.

Usually ordering from Japan is very safe, just check the seller's feedback.

The HA-S680 is only sold in Japan and I assume also made in Japan.

I'm really not knowledgable with the models you have listed, but I really like my JVC HA-S500-Z (gunmetal gray) headphones (bought from Japan, on eBay) and I assume the HA-S680s are even better.
