Headphone and amp recommendations please! :D

Ok, so I have a budget of around 200$ to 250$ if need be, but I am looking for a set of headphones that will be used for gaming and all kinds of music on a PC. An amp would be nice to go with these if it enhances the quality of the headphones in general, but if it is not needed and is considered more of a luxury, then please don't recommend it. I'm sorry for sounding mean, but I really want an amp if it really is worth paying the extra to get the enhancement out of it, and I will need a clip on mic if the headphones do not come with one built in so it is fine if you can't find one with a mic built in I can deal with a clip on mic. Thank you!

I'd go with a Fiio E07k [an amp/Dac combo unit which will improve the sound quality a good bit]  and a Beyer Dyanmic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm. The DT 990 pro is a comfortable headphone, and does great with both music and gaming it how ever needs an amp to reach an appropriate volume level.

And a clip on mike should fit nicely onto the cable of that headphone as well.

But the DT 990 Pro 250ohm is about $150 new, if your willing to buy used, check out the head fi For Sale section and you can could get both of them gently used for less than $200.

Mshenay,

Could you please tell me why have you advised to go for a 250 Ohm model? Isn't it easier to drive 32 Ohms?

Prices, the 32 ohm model not only is hard to drive, as it needs more current. But it is also more expensive. The 250 ohm variant sounds better and is much less expensive. Although for sufficent volume it needs an amp. Where as the 32 ohm will get plenty loud but will not have as tight a sound as the 250 ohm
