It is for the digital out. It is a trs to RCA, the RCA would be the digital in of a dac, like the Hugo.

Many times on daps you get some wrap around, so that the imaging to the right and left tend to be in your ears. The DX90 keeps this out in a more flat plain, were the sounds should be coming from, so you have a nice wide soundstage and one that keeps recorded sounds out where they should be. It also maintains a nice natural depth, if the recorded that way.

Could please take a photo of the DX90 and AK100/AK120 side by side? Just would like to have some comparison on the size  between these DAPs...thanks.

There are a few images I see around before comparing DX50 and AK1xx. That should be good enough.

DX90 sounds like the stuff of dreams so far. :gs1000smile: Eagerly waiting for more confirmation from 1st batch guinea pigs owners.

Hey Jamato, so no volume spikes? What about decrease in sound quality when battery is low?

I know I keep asking about this, because it's important to me. Either one would pretty much be a deal breaker and lead me to regret buying a DX90.

yeah, i wanna know more about bugs, stability etc.

I have not had one volume spike. I have also left it on for days and then off for a day or so and then on and off. No spikes. I don't notice a decrease in sound quality with the battery low.

Does that indicate that those bugs will likely be eliminated from the DX50 when the firmware is updated? Or is it not possible to say?

That's great news! Just awesome. I think I will be getting this over the X5, or maybe both, not sure at this point, but I'm leaning hard on DX90 now.

Interestingly, I was reading a 'Total Guitar' magazine article last night called 'Myth Busters'.

One was 'Pedals sound different with dying batteries' - the Answer TRUE, they sound better (provided they are Analogue).

Do we know if the DX90 hiss with sensitive iems ? It seems that's a problem with the DX50...

Is TG334 consider sensitive? Got no problem with hiss.unless some classical recording with more noise.
